To become an IIAM member, you must be an independent insurance agency in good standing with the insurance department. You must have a certificate of authority from at least one admitted insurance company which can write for multiple companies.
To apply for membership, you must complete a membership application and return it and your dues payment to our office for at least one quarter. Our dues schedule is included in the application.
In addition to IIAM, your dues include membership in the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (IIABA) and the Southern Agents Conference and use of IIABA's national marketing brand, Trusted Choice. As required by our bylaws, your membership is contingent on approval by our Executive Committee.
